The wonderfully beautiful island of Samothraki is like a mountain that has grown out of the sea with countless waterfalls and trees like mythical creatures. In ancient times, Samothrace - also called the Moon Island - was one of the most important holy places in all of Hellas. Here the great gods were worshiped and mystery cults took place. Some of it still seems to be felt. When you step onto the island, you think you can hear the gods breathing. The warm heartbeat of mother nature can be heard from the depths of the forest. There are dancing springs and gigantic winding roots everywhere. Imposing waterfalls pour out of rugged rocks and form natural pools that invite you to take a bath. The huge plane tree forests seem to come from a fairytale landscape, in which every tree whispers a story from ancient times. How could one not dance and drum and be here?
