Dear friends of creative dance moments and unusual dance locations,

In the bloom of summer I would like to invite you to dance in the midst of nature and to celebrate dance in all its originality. Anyone who knows my previous travels knows that I am always looking for special places beyond the borders of Europe - for small oases in which dance can unfold naturally. So it will perhaps surprise you all the more that this time it does not go far. Because good things are often very close at hand - and so I was able to get to know a powerful, pristine landscape at the gates of Berlin, in which I immediately encountered countless tempting dance floors. It goes to the Parsteinsee with its crystal clear water, very close to Chorin and its famous monastery. Here on an island there is a campground that is still traded as a secret tip with magical hidden bathing areas, fairytale forest clearings and at the same time huge fields over which the sky pours in its endlessness. Look forward to atmospheric places where we can dance undisturbed while we listen to the rhythms of nature. In addition to the dance, there will be enough time to bathe, chat, cook together or just relax in quiet places. You don't need any dance skills to participate - but of course they are not a hindrance either :) I look forward to seeing you. The workshop
`In the rhythm of nature`
Oriental Fusion & Afro-Haitian Dance
Head: Zsuzsa Parrag

During this dance weekend you are invited to experience dance in a natural way in the midst of an enchanting and pristine landscape. We want to sharpen our senses, absorb the movements of nature in us, explore our own dance rhythm - with plenty of room for expression and improvisation. The focus is on the elements earth, fire, water and air - this in the context of oriental fusion and Afro-Haitian dance. With the help of inner images, a holistic meditative-dance warm-up, small creative tasks, I will support you in finding your way into movement with ease. As always, I propose a selection of different movements that you can then freely experiment with in improvisation.
Look forward to unusual dance locations in the midst of nature, whose shapes, colors and movements we will use to enter creative spaces.
A special highlight will be the dance ritual by the fire. (Participation optional) Here the healing - balancing dances from Haiti will be a supporting element.

When it rains, lessons take place in the large, converted barn at the campsite.


getting there
The easiest way to get here is by car and I would support you in carpooling. Without a car you need a bike. In this case you take the train to Chorin and then take an idyllic forest path for about 50 minutes to the campsite. If you want, you can also use the bike rental at the train station in Chorin.
After registering, you will receive detailed directions and the contacts of all other participants so that you can cycle or ride together.

Everything about accommodation / meals & more:

If you like to camp, you can look forward to an idyllic campsite with consistently pleasant visitors. The overnight stay costs 5 €. You can of course also arrive on Friday. There is a café at the campsite that offers simple, light snacks and drinks. On Saturday and Sunday everyone who feels like cooking can cook together. Dishes / pots etc are available because I happen to have a good contact on site :) I am happy to show you the preparation of one of my favorite dishes, which have been so popular at various festivals :) - but I am also happy about everyone among you who want to pick up the wooden spoon themselves. As the time gets closer, we will plan everything related to food more precisely so that it becomes easier for us all.

Overnight in a guesthouse

If you don't like camping, you can of course rent a guest house in the area. The closest location would be Brodowin (and the surrounding area). In this case, it is recommended that you start your search soon, as the area is very popular at this time of the year.
