Let's belly dance!
Do you fancy a little exotic journey through some of the most beautiful movements of oriental dance? You can get to know them in this course. You learn soft flowing figures that give you a graceful body feeling and earthy, ecstatic movements that can give you a completely new pelvic feeling, because oriental dance is not only visual but above all inner pleasure.
The focus is on:
- Exercises to promote relaxation and mobility of the spine
- flowing movements: figures of eight, circles, waves
- basic steps
- powerful movements: pelvic pendulum, twist, tilt, drop, shimmy
- Figures of the upper body and arms
- Brief introduction to the cultural background
At the end, the learned figures are lined up in a small sequence so that they can be easily remembered and repeated.
The course is suitable as an introduction for beginners as well as for dancers with previous knowledge who want to refresh their knowledge or work specifically on certain movements.
